The calculator itself collects no student data. No student names, IDs, Social Security numbers, or other personally identifiable student information are entered into, transmitted through, or stored by this tool. All calculations happen in your browser or in a stateless server request that retains nothing after the response is sent.
When you use the print feature, we ask for your name and work email address. By printing, you agree to receive updates about this tool and other Desata products and resources. We use your information to:

Calculation inputs and results are not stored. They exist only for the duration of your session. Work email addresses submitted through the print feature are retained by Formspree and by Desata for the purpose of sending product updates. We delete your information within 30 days of receiving a deletion request.
We protect the information we collect using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
